Excuse me, but have you ever picked yourself up something during Christmas shopping and then got it also as a present? :elf1:

Excuse me, but have you ever picked yourself up something during Christmas shopping and then got it also as a present? :elf1:
I believe I have, but can't recall the specifics. It's really difficult because Christmastime has such pretty things in the stores and if you wait, just in case someone gets it for you, when they don't, then after Christmas it's gone! Now I take the chance and buy it if it's something I really want (which doesn't happen too often, luckily).
I have only done that once. I usually just quickly clench and un-clench my fists and say "Just walk away Chris" ... lol
Excuse me, but have you ever forgotten the dinner rolls in the oven? :christmasdinner:
:santahat:
Actually, we don't have dinner rolls with our meals. But I have forgotten other things while I'm off multi-tasking. It's such a shame when it passes the crispy phase, to being just burnt.
Or do you mean forgot to put them out for the meal? We've done that, too. :elf1:
I do not have them that often, which is why I did forget them while setting Thanksgiving dinner on the table... :hopxmas:
Excuse me, but have you ever been too busy this time of year to take a moment (or two) to just relax and enjoy the time?
Usually that's the case, but these covid years have given me the time. And although I wish it was under different circumstances, I'm grateful for that.
Excuse me, but I haven't been enjoying watching the ball drop in NY for several years now and I have decided that I would prefer to count it down some other way. I will look to see what ideas are more my style and see what I come up with for next year.
I caught the "Central Time" drop from Nashville... :xmaseyeroll:
Excuse me, but have you ever taken the time to enjoy Christmas in July? :treedance:
Excuse me.......it's been a long time since I last visited :xmaseyeroll:
Oh of course. I've had a few "gentle" complaints as well, till I pointed out they played their favorite music year round... :gelf:
Excuse me, but have you ever wished for a White Christmas and then it actually happened?
Good point!
I ALWAYS wish for a white Christmas, and yes, one year it snowed heavily on Christmas Day. I was so thrilled until I realized we were going to have to be out shoveling for awhile. I now temper my wish with enough to whiten everything, but not enough to have to shovel!
Excuse me, but the 'bers are set to begin in 5 days! :tree:
And I cannot wait... :santa:
Excuse me, but have you shopped for any Christmas presents yet?
Excuse me, but I am ready to track Santa- I hope he's not late taking off at 4am, like last year! :rudolph:
As of this writing, Santa is due to take off in 4 hours, 57 min... Happy Tracking! :santa:
Excuse me, but have you ever wished for (dreamed of) a tropical Christmas? :holiday:
Never! It wouldn't feel like Christmas to me! One of my sisters wants to do it one time. I have no desire.
Excuse me, but the leaves have started changing color on a few trees and bushes here. Probably because they haven't seen much sun this summer.
Good for you darlin'. We have not had a lack of sun here, but until last week, we did have a lack of rain... lol :rain:
Excuse me, but have you ever decorated your room for Christmas while still in the middle of November (or earlier)?
I don't think so...I need time to come off Halloween and then there's only a very brief time for Thanksgiving decorations! :dizzy:
Excuse me, but you can buy these for the person you know who's at the height of fashion :elf1:

That would have to be a top level Christmas lady... lol :xmaseyeroll:
Excuse me, but have you ever sat down and read "The Night Before Christmas" just to yourself?
:waving:
Excuse me, but have you ever went to Hobby Lobby in late July or early August and was a bit disappointed that no Christmas stuff was out yet? :yahoo:
Sometimes- summer puts me in a Christmas mood. :christmastree:
I go between being upset that they no longer are selling much of anything for the holiday that's right nearby (they're already on to the next one), to being sad that I can't beat the crowd and get a head start on the one that's a bit further out.
Excuse me, but I think we may have a shot at a white Christmas this year. I actually have been able to wear my fall coats- it's been cold enough (as opposed to the last several, where it's been too warm)! :snowing:
We actually had below freezing on Halloween, but since, it has been in the upper 40's to low 50's. We usually get a white Christmas here in South Dakota, but there have been a few exceptions...
Excuse me, but have you ever taken a trip during December just to see snow? :santa1:
Excuse me, but have you ever sent a Christmas in July present or card? :presents2:
I have never taken a trip just to see snow- we get it eventually. You?
I have never sent a Christmas in July gift or card. I believe you do the card swap at that time of year, but have you ever sent a gift?
