New brown ornaments for our tree and Christmas cards:treedance:
I ordered this year's nutcracker
I was actually buying some last minute Candy for trick-or-treaters last night and stumbled upon a Christmas Sale so I bought a fresh strand of lights for the house and a couple lighted candy canes.

My new nutcracker arrived in the mail today!
Mom and I went to a Christmas sale at a small antique mall and I found a fuzzy wuzzy Santa book from 1947!

The matte finish brown ornaments might not look brown in the photo.
Picked up 6 sets of clear C9 lights, wrapping paper, tissue paper and bags at Hobby Lobby the Monday after Christmas (66% off!) and 3 sets of clear mini-lights at Home Depot (75% off) last week.
I bought several boxes of Christmas crackers on clearance, a Santa and Reindeer centerpiece, and another nativity scene. I really need to stop. Six Nativity scenes is a bit much.
Bought cards for Christmas 2016
Bought absolutely nothing on clearance this year. :sad elf:
If anyone is close to a World Market, they had all the Christmas stuff that was left for 90% off!!!! :yahoo: I admit it was slim pickings, but I got several boxes of Christmas Crackers (the kind you pull apart not the kind you eat)for 2 dollars a box! I probably won't need to buy any for the rest of my life.:xmaseyeroll: I also got some Christmas cards. Hopefully this year I will actually send cards out!
I went to a local swap & trade event. I picked up this little guy out of a FREE box. Yes I know he wasn't bought but he was still meant for this family.:yahoo:

:welcome: Chocollatechip 1979! I hope you enjoy posting here. It is a little slow right now, but it is a great community.
That snowman is a great find!:elf3:
I just saw this post now - believe it or not!!! Christmas last year was VERY strange! We sold our house on Dec 17th and bought our new one on Jan 8th - so technically, we were homeless. It was so odd not being surrounded by decorations! We did go to a dude ranch for 3 days over Christmas and that was a lot of fun. I brought along a very small tree with a few ornaments and all our gifts. Our little dog really enjoyed himself. I am SO looking forward to a normal Christmas this year!
This is a great time of year for my part of the world. Tons of yard sales every weekend, which means, TONS OF CHRISTMAS STUFF TO BUY!!
And it is all super cheap :) I love it!
Ordered some light stakes earlier this week and they were delivered yesterday.
I got a plaid Christmas tablecloth with matching napkins at my condo's yard sale. They are from Crate and Barrel and they are BRAND NEW!!! Everything is still in the manufactures package!!!!! The best part is I only paid 5 DOLLARS!!!!! :yahoo:
Picked up some more light stakes and strings of C9 lights over the weekend.
Here is some stuff acquired while vacationing in Kentucky and the October release Hallmark ornaments.
We still have several Hallmark ornaments in layaway.
Going to Hobby Lobby elf hunting today.:elf3:
