What was the last Christmas Item you bought?

:christmastree: I bought colorful shatterproof ornaments including a red hippo and a green hippo for one of the grandsons (he's age 8). He has his own fiberoptic tree. You may recall that I also bought him a glass pickle earlier. He has the best sense of humor of any of the grandkids! He's always making us laugh.

And I bought a pre-lit LED wreath to replace the old wreath that had no lights:

I'm going to decorate it with shatterproof ornaments.

I ordered a few of these to add to my other owls from 4 years ago ...

..... and got a couple of styrofoam cone shapes ... to do something 'crafty' ..:santa1:

my (only) sister, in Ohio, has a couple of those on her tree; I think one of my nieces bought them a couple years ago. They are so cute.

I tried to buy some of those owls last year, but they were out of stock. This year way back in January, I decided to go another direction with my decorating. But I still love the owls.

Bought some more cords and plug adapters last weekend. I am almost done with my display.

I bought an assortment of pretty gift boxes.

Some people use Black Friday for deals on Gifts --- I use it as a chance to get out there and buy up discounted Holiday Decorations. I picked up this Christmas Snoopy on Motorcycle from Home Depot at 50% off, plus my preferred customer discount, I got this $90 decoration for around $30 (!!)

I also picked up HUGE pre-lit artificial Christmas Wreath for over the Garage, ticket price of about $50 but, with the same discounts, I got it for $20.

Not a bad day, lol

I bought a load of tree decorations from Next. They're really cheap and they're lovely - I particularly like the Robin. It's the first proper Christmas tree I will have had in years because I now actually own a house that can fit one in!Attachment 6054

I bought an mp3 download from amazon. it's called Big Box Christmas or Big Christmas Box. and it only cost 99 cents!!! It is old classical Christmas music (not to be confused with classic Christmas music) it has 270 or 280 songs on it. I love most of it, it is 13 or so hours of listening pleasure. it includes the complete Messiah and complete Nutcracker, as well as beautiful choral pieces.

I bought a pack of mirror-metallic purple baubles form the 99p store, along with a tube of instant snow. I've not used the snow yet, I'm eager to see what it is like once the water is added. Is it a pain to clear up after christmas is over?

Had to order more LED lights this morning to finish the outside lights.

This weekend I bought some more LED-lights for the garden :xmaswink:

Bought my daughter a pair of earrings. Now I only have to buy for my husband!

The last Christmas item I bought was a new pair of stockings for my kids. The old ones are too worn out and I got a great deal on the new ones!

I bought a liitle Christmas tree shaped bowl for the end table and filled it with candy.

a little group of carolers for my village (which I STILL have not finished and we will be gone in less than 2 days!)

I got 2 books for Christmas customs in Greece. January is always a month where you can find lots of Christmas things in really low prices (as no one buys Christmas stuff after Christmas).

I spent 10 euros for both. :xmastounge:

I bought my 2014 Madame Alexander doll ornament during the Christmas in July sales at Hallmark. I ordered a new main tree for the living room - it should be here on Monday. I've also purchased 3 gifts so far.

I did not buy it to be honest, but I was given a present last night from a friend who visited me...
Its a Christmas puppy ornament... I can not wait to hang it on my tree, as, this Christmas is going to be the first one for my lovely puppy... (I wonder what Im going to do with my tree and decoration this year, I bet he will chew the branches and the ornaments during the night...)

Saturday, I went to a yard sale and there was a lady there who works at a florist and she was selling Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations, such as wreaths, garland, and table decorations. I bought a Christmas wreath and garland. The garland has white mini lights and red berries. It is simple and pretty the way it is but, I will probably add something to it, like maybe pinecones

Just bought a Santa's Best 5' Foxwood Fraser Fir w/ EZ Power & 7 Light Functions from QVC, for the train room.
Now that I have finished the freight yard track I needed a shorter tree.The 7.5' tree I have been using will go to Sarah's room and her old tree will probably go to work.:christmastree:

Congrats on the job, olga! I am going out to buy a set of lights today myself. Part of the strand of lights on my Madame Alexander tree burnt out! Now I have to un-decorate it and redecorate it. I am not too happy right now!

Well, I just bought more ornaments for my mother. I don't know if she'll still be around next Christmas. I don't know if she loses things or if someone really does steal them. However, I just can't see her not enjoying her favorite holiday each year this late in life.
