Christmas lights for outside decorating
Purchased two corner pieces for the outside door to my office... :tree1:
I bought a bunch of sturdy posters to brighten up the empty walls a bit. I always hated having such a warmly decorated house and then be left with boring, empty white walls.
I got these here; https://displate.com/kevingen/christ...=5d024da88efc1
They should be easy to remove after the holidays as well. Super excited to use them! :tree:
Two inflatable snowmen having a snowball fight... lol. :elf3:
I had to pick up a few stickers and couldn't resists a recent Christmas clearance sale :)
Got an inexpensive Santa head ornament for the center of a wreath. Looks very good... :xmaswink:
:welcome: Kage and sharonDavis! Glad you've both joined us! :christmastree:
Corner pieces? Decorations that fit in the corner of a hallway? Or that decorate the corners of the door frame?
The Santa ornament in the middle of the wreath sounds nice!
And I'd appreciate if someone in my neighborhood would get one of those snowmen counting down the days til Christmas. :gelf:
The pieces fit on the door frame. When I have it all decorated, I'll share the photos... :rudolph:
300 incandescent C9 bulbs, that I have just learned might need to be on different circuits. I'm guessing I should get in touch with an electrician? I've only dealt with mini lights outside and had no idea I would have to reroute, especially since I had hundreds more minis.
Also, I bought a couple pairs of glittered bells. I was very glad to see they were back in vogue. :elf3:
Nutcracker napkin rings, and a few stocking stuffers.
Some mini stockings for gift cards... :presents3:
I also bought a few more christmass balls for in the tree.
Stocking stuffers. In fact, I just thought of a person I need to add to that... :santa1:
I got some garland 70 percent off at Micheal's!
A set of ornaments and a 4' wall tree. I'll be interest to see how that looks... :christmastree:
Went back to Micheal's where it's now 80 percent off. I got a wreath 3 nutcrackers, more garland and some other stuff I'm forgetting. I really need to curb my Christmas addiction!
I also got another Nutcracker. It was too cool and too low priced to pass up... :elf3:
A Norad Tracks Santa long-sleeved t-shirt.
I also have a few NORAD Tracks Santa T-Shirts and a sweatshirt from years past. Not a big fan of long-sleeved T-Shirts. :home:
I finally tried it on yesterday. It's on the short side, both in the body and in the sleeves- I'm thinking I'll be able to stretch it out when it's wet. I mainly bought it to do fall yard work in- to remind me of happy things as I'm raking leaves. :fall: Regular T-shifts aren't flattering on me.
Sounds very cool. I also went online to find a replacement string of mini lights for a snowman indoor decor. I needed white wire and 35 lights (not easy to find)... :hopxmas:
I just bought a new Santa and Snowman Jim Shore piece. I found it at a thrift store for $5.
I came upon something that looks like a cloth envelope with the words "Special delivery to Santa" on it. It now hangs in my office... :dizzy:
I just purchased and received 2 butterfly Keepsake ornaments for my daughters Christmas tree.
Have not "actually" made a recent purchase, but I got the latest Hallmark dream book online and submitted my requests for 2022... :tree1:
Hard not to be when you see all the great ornaments soon available... :waving:
I finally decided on some purple C9 bulbs, but now I'm second guessing it. They remind me of A Charlie Brown Christmas for some reason, which makes me happy. I just hope they don't look 'Eastery' when they're up. The clear purple looked red in the string and the black bulbs were grey. So these seemed the best, since I was looking to add a bit of fun. The more I look at it, though, I'm worried that it won't look Christmasy.
A flocked Christmas tree. I have never had one before. I’m still keeping my old tree. Now I have a choice from year to year.
