2 cups water
1/4 cup oil
2 eggs
2 boxes quick bread mix
2 cups raisins
2 cups pecans
1 large fruit cake mix
Heat oven to 350 degrees
grease and flour bottom of pans
In large bowl combine water, oil, eggs beat well
Add all remaining ingredients stir by hand until combined.
Pour into greased & floured pans
Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
This is my dad's favorite for the season Mom and I both make him a batch of it!
My husband loves fruitcake but I didn't know that there's a fruitcake mix. What brand is it? Or is it a container of candied fruit?Quote:

yes that is what mom calls fruit cake mix is the candied fruit.:waving:
