Each year for Thanksgiving, my family goes to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge Tennessee. It is so beautiful there that time of year, AND, they have all their Christmas lights up! I just booked our hotel today and cannot wait!:santa2:

I started staying at Bearskin Lodge right after it opened, after having stayed at Riverhouse at the Park for a long time. They're both on the other end of town, but not a long walk to the main strip. Riverhouse got to the point that they weren't updating their rooms at all. Bearskin Lodge is reasonable and very clean, and the staff is extremely friendly.
I would love to get back to Pigeon Forge - haven't been there in 20 years!
