What's the best Christmas movie, i watch Last Christmas movie ''Let it Snow'' it's awesome.
A ton of great movies over the years, but my favorite is a classic... Miracle on 34th Street... :tree1:
Several version have been made over the years, but the B&W is still the best one... enjoy!! :santa2:
Non-animated, I would have to agree with Bishop...Miracle on 34th St (with Maureen O'Hara).
As far as animated... a toss up between a Charlie Brown Christmas & Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer (narrated by Burl Ives)... :reindeer2:
Rudolph is my favorite animated. :reindeer2:
I also enjoy Mr Magoo's Christmas Carol for a blend of the serious subject and injected with a bit of humor...
There are so many great Christmas movies. Aside from the movies mentioned above I have to say my favorite is a christmas story. I got to visit the house a couple of years ago. Worth the trip!
What I also love about owning this classic movies is the addition on the DVD with trailers or behind the scenes clips... :santahat:
i recently watched a movie that i have not seen since i was in grade school {3rd or 4th grade??}. For some reason the movie pop in my head when i was trying to find Christmas movies....It was, "The House without a Christmas Tree"...I think it came out during the 70's...i actually found it on youtube, and watched it with the grandkids...It was an older movie of course but it had a nice story to it, and reminded me of old memories when i was just a kid....It was great watching it again...
The Christmas movie that I probably watch the most during the year is "Trading Christmas" (Hallmark 2011). About a writer trading homes to get away for inspiration and a mom trying to surprise her daughter for Christmas. Neither gets what they intended originally, but with a bit of Christmas magic, they all find more than they ever hoped for. Really good for when I, on occasion, might begin to think things are not working out for me or my family... :snowman:
There are 2 Christmas movies that are the best, and they are Home Alone and Home Alone 2.
The first was unique and funny with a nice "Christmas Season" ending. The rest were not nearly as well done... :christmastree:
If you are looking for images, I may help you. But I do not think I can post anything here. Try to write me to private messages and I will share some links with you. I am from the US https://worldcams.tv/united-states/duluth/harbor by the way. I am not sure that I have exactly what you need, but you will decide for yourself. Waiting for your mail. Or we can communicate in messenger.
I guess that since there are so many great Christmas movies, it, in all honesty, would be tough for me to make a single choice. Some of the "standards" just have to be watched every year... :elf3:
I was happily surprised with the Christmas Cronicles.
Some of the Hallmark Christmas movies are now being added to my favorite's list. In fact I have quite a few saved on my DVR and will watch one a day... :snowman:
True enough. That is the reason for more. If I find one that does not "fit the bill", I can delete it and go to the next one... lol :yahoo:
there is any website with many free Christmas moovies?
You Tube will carry quite a few, but beyond that, I am not certain. I did add Roku to my TV downstairs and they seem to have access to a ton of TV & Movie channels I have never heard of. But if you do not mind commercials. You can find some there as well. Good hunting... :tree:
Thank you for the info Bishop1954!
My pleasure and now waiting for the new season of Hallmark Christmas movies. Many do seem to be basic makeovers of ones they did before, but I have always found a gem (or two) in every new season... :tree:
is there any forum to talk about Christmas DIY Workshops ideas?
Not aware of any, but I'm sure if you contact some local colleges with a video department, they can put you on the right track... :kinky elf:
