Bishop- how did Christmas in July go?
Changed out the batteries and played the Peanuts interactive figures... :tree:
Listened to the tv special 'Twas the Night Before Christmas" in my car.
Not done much unless thinking where and how we are going to decorate the tree counts....:elf1:
Nothing wrong with that... lol. Been giving some thought to the front yard and where things are going. :presents1:
Gathering Christmas gift ideas.
Re-did the lights on a couple of wreaths...
I saw a picture of a tree along the lines of the ones in Rudolph and spent time trying to find the place to purchase it (no luck).
Laid out the plans for my front yard display. The theme this year? "Checking it Twice". :home:
Fun! :santa:
The only Christmasy thing I've done today is to play Christmas music while making and eating breakfast and wonder about what to get certain people. I realized I have to put the lights up in less than a month- as soon after Halloween as I can while there's still any bit of warmth in the air!
Yes and this week I go to Hobby Lobby for the sign items... :home:
Today I was researching gift ideas and listening to Christmas music.
Yesterday I finished putting up the lights outside (ran out last weekend and had to order more). I'm doing white and green lights. I hope it won't look too cold without any warm colors. I may not have many outside lights next year as I'm planning on chopping the bushes back next Spring, which will leave the front ones just wood for awhile.
Eating an drinking some festive treats while I online shopped for gifts. I've begun listing to silly Christmas mash up songs leading up to December. Once December hits or it snows, I can break out the Bob Rivers Playlist.
Got some of the yard stuff out of storage... :santa1:
I made an ornament out of a photo of 2 of my sisters and I when we were kids.
Fial touches for tomorrow, including a Facebook Christmas post... :santa2:
I finally found a Christmas desktop wallpaper that I like for my new laptop. And was looking to see if paleo people had any ideas for healthier Christmas cookies.
Ordered something I missed from my wife's "Wish List". Not certain when she will get it, but before Christmas 2025 to be sure. Maybe Valentine's Day? :giftpeek:
May not be exactly Christmassy, but I did take down a portion of the family room decorations. :home:
I've been trying for years to find candy canes to hang on my front doors, but none have been what I'm looking for. I did find large Christmas decals that I might give a whirl, though. I've also been singing Christmas carols the last few days. :singing:
Bishop- I did the puzzle that Santa gave me. :santa: I've never done a wooden puzzle before. I was very leery when I saw the shapes of the pieces. And it was quite the challenge with the whole of it not staying stable (locking into place and being stationary), like cardboard(?) puzzles. Thanks for sending it on to me! :elf1:
Do you normally do wooden puzzles?
