Our favorite tradition, to get our family into the spirit of Christmas, is to write a creative Christmas letter. Instead of just writing a traditional newsletter that might sound like a brag letter, we try to use a different theme every year to make the letters fun to write and more fun to read too. We write the letter as a family, once we pick a theme, so that everyone includes information about himself. We did a search on the internet to get ideas for themes for writing creative Christmas letters.

Decorating the tree always gets me in the Christmas spirit, but the one thing that really gets me in the spirit is putting in a Christmas cartoon or movie and sitting down to wrap presents. Love it!!
Putting up decorations, listening to music, watching the movies, baking cookies... the usual I guess.
