Christmas is more than a holiday
We celebrate each year.
It's the season of miracles,
A time for spreading cheer.
It's a time to hold reunions,
A time to make amends
As we send cards and gather with
Our family and friends.
It's a time to forgive others,
To pray for peace on earth
And treat all men as brothers
As we celebrate Christ's birth.
Our hearts are warmed at Christmastime
By strings of colored lights
As we exchange those "special gifts"
On those holy, silent nights.
We decorate our Christmas trees
With ornaments of love,
Each one a precious memory
Bright as the stars above.
Generations blend together
As friends and loved ones draw near.
Christmas is more than a holiday
We celebrate each year.
