Wishing you all a safe and healthy New Year :) 2012 was an year filled with lows and a few highs for me so I am praying that 2013 will be a better year. January is always a sad time of the year when we take down the decortions. I will start taking things down on Jan 19th as I have friends coming to visit iin the coming days and they want to see the decorations.

Yes the house certainly does Papa. I am going to be starting on my home projects in a couple of weeks, workingon some lighting and shelves in my Star Wars room. Yes I have a room that is all Star Wars. Then I have to finish painting the 2nd floor of the house followed by landscaping, a waterfall in the back and that should get me to October just in time for Christmas planning:)

Mike, you once said, " :) there are 800 random twinkling mini lights and about 2300 clear mini lights. I had to use 6 different electrical connections for the tree." Is that number still valid?
Those numbers have changed in recent years since I moved into the house and bought the 12' tree. Now there are 800 twinkling and 4500 clear mini lights. That number is going to increase on November 16th when I start on the tree.

Hi Papa, One of these days I hope that we will meet in person :) Actually I am going to be starting on November 16th. My wife is flying to London on November 15th and I am under strict orders to not start on any decorating until she leaves and I have to complete everything by November 30th upon her return and of course it has to be better than last year, No pressure at all :)
