I just watched Killing Kennedy on the Fox News channel. It made me cry to look at the video of Caroline and John-John at the end. It was such a sad time.

A very sad time! Back in 1960, when I was only 4, JFK was campaigning and made a stop in my hometown. Everyone was crowding around where they thought his limo would stop. My Mom stayed in the background with us - my 2 year old sister and me. Meanwhile, the limo stops right next to us. When he got out, he stopped to pat me on the head. Funny, because at only 4 years old - I remember this like it was yesterday. My Mom always told me that it happened because I must have reminded him of Caroline.

News on tv, just finished breakfast, about to run out to the store to replace a burnt-out light cord for my village - then that will be done. Tree is on the agenda for today.

I'm sorry, Steph! My favorites are the ones you don't really care for. But, my latest Christmas music, that I bought a few months ago, was A Music Box Christmas- I think it's charming. The Baroque album you mentioned I thought I might like, so I was trying to find a place to sample it, but couldn't find it. I can relate to people not really liking your type of music, because that happens to me with non-Christmas music. It makes you feel so good and you just want to share/enjoy it with someone.

I just listened to We Wish You A Merry Christmas by Joemy Wilson, Hammered Dulcimer, in your honor. :tree:

lol I can't believe you'd want to make anything after Thanksgiving...

Looking at the candles in the window- glad to see them back!

Last year and this year it feels a little off to me to see Christmas lights everywhere when it's so mild out. And in January when I take them down, I feel like I want to keep them up, because it's so cold! :dizzy:

I'm at work with Bruno, me and 5 friends have rent a place where we will make a coffe-tea-wine place.
That place is gonna open first days of January. :)

I just did some cleaning and laundry; listening to the news but time for a Christmas CD. Husband is preparing to leave on a business trip.

Woodstove is loaded again and i'm enjoying the lights on my trees as well as my other decor,drinking some hot tea and posting a bit.:santa2:

I'm drying the tablecloth that goes under my main (table top) tree. I wasn't procrastinating --- just deciding what can go in the garage and what should be given away.

Posting and affixing stamps to my cards. I've also been looking for my cord so that I can download pics from my camera and post them here! I CANNOT find it!

Was listening to pandora classical Christmas while browsing amazon, then everything suddenly shut off and I got a black screen with the apple logo. Everything seems to be back to normal, though. Just haven't turned music back on yet.

Just had breakfast and straightened the house, still have two more places to look for my camera/pc cord - then will give up and have my daughter take pics with her phone. I'm about to bake a batch of Christmas cookies for the freezer

I'm happily sitting down after the painful exercise of ironing a tablecloth. Tomorrow I need to iron two smaller ones.

I imagine one of yours is quite large. I only had to do a 70" round one, but my one leg just aches and aches when I stand too long. The next one I ironed looked like a square, but when I put it over the round one I realized it's not exactly square(slightly rectangular). I used it anyway; I don't think people pay much attention to my decorations.
