yes, many times I have been awake all night, but mainly because of wrapping presents and last minute decorating touch-ups

(when my ex and I were still together, one Christmas morning, he actually let them open everything before I was up!!! (I had been up all night working ((wrapping, decorating, preparing food)) while he slept, and I got up around 8,after about 2 hours of sleep, maybe, and everything had been opened.)
As a child, I wouldn't sleep much; but as an adult I am totally exhausted and usually sleep well that night

Oh yed. One year we were spening Christmas Eve and morning with my parents and were supposed to go to my husband's parents for dinner - about 2 hours away. Well, we had a blizzard overnight and there was 20+ inches of snow on the ground - roads were closed all over the place, so we never saw his family that year!
