For me it's green beans,radishes,strawberries,blueberries,green peppers,peas,watermelon,a few things.:elf3:
Will only plant herbs and cherry tomatoes in containers on the deck. Will be busy planting shrubs, azaleas, and forsythias in the yard and tulips in the front garden.
As we are now well into June now whats growing in your garden?
Never planted the cherry tomatoes or forsythia - every thing else (except the dill plant) are doing well!

Well my Garden isnt doing too bad either...Ive got the garden peas..Potatoes (Nearly ready to dig up) and the raspberries are flowering so not too bad..
Still a few days away from Spring 2018. But I will be planting some green onions and garden beans on the deck area. I also plan to put it a few perennials in pots on the back portion of the yard. Not much else planned yet, except to get the lawn back in shape again... lol
Herbs agai on the side porch - parsley, basil. rosemary, and chives. Flowers in pots on the deck, brown-eyed Susans in the front garden area
I have not tried herbs as much. I suppose it is because I'm not sure what to do with them after they grow... lol.
I use a lot of herbs and spices in my cooking - especially basil and chives. I am diabetic so I use seasonings to "ramp" up the flavor without adding carbs! Nothing beats freshly grown herbs!Quote:

I grow a good size garden love my fresh veggies and things,as i do blueberry and strawberry bushes as well as rasberries,and my flower gardens are pretty good size,love the smells of my flowers.
Very cool. Mine is small, but I enjoy watching it come up and of course the aromas from the flowers and the flavors from the garden.
I want to try parsley, green onions and cucumbers again next spring. I don't know what the heck happened this last season, but my annuals were all stunted.
And I agree ornamentmaven- nothing like fresh herbs- I'm a new convert!
I re-did a portion of my backyard this past year and only planted perennials. But, I did grow a couple of Green Pepper plants that are now inside and still producing. Have not yet decided about next Spring... :santasmile:
I have recently been trying to grow from seed. For some reason I just cannot grow grape tomatoes. But I am currently seeing spinach, radishes, and green beans come up, along with some corn that the squirrels have planted randomly in my garden- thanks guys! :elf3:
Doing some Green Onions and maybe a pepper or two. Other than that getting a few flowers out... lol :presents1:
I will do peppers and zucchini for sure and maybe a few green onions and flowers... :jumping:
The new ones I'm going to try are kale, bok choy and a yellow flower ground cover.

You would think with all the rain that my plants would be thriving. The ones that have survived are only a couple inches tall- and it's almost August!
Squash did not do too well this year, but I might have had them too close. Got a few peppers, but not quite what I hoped for there either... :waving:
I finally figured out what's wrong with just about everything (including the window boxes) in my yard this year- a fungal infection from all the rain. :elf2: At least I know what to do about it for next year.
I have decided now that my veggies are done for the year, to plant a nice Fall mum by my front door... :elf3:
The Squash did not do as well, so this year I will be planting green onions, regular onions and bell peppers... :jumping:

I did place in planters, green peppers and green onions. The onions came as a seed strip! Very handy. I also stuck a few kernels of corn in a very large planter just for fun. The peppers and onions are growing, we will see on the corn. I hope you get enough to have made your efforts worthwhile... :kinky elf:
I finally got one shoot of corn. I've been watching it grow and looking forward to it. I went out today and it has completely disappeared! Along with the extra corn seeds I just planted! Pretty much everywhere I plant is going to be fenced in next year! :mad:

The peppers are a bit smaller than before, but they still taste okay. The corn (3 stalks) and the green onions are doing fine, but nothing to harvest just yet... :yahoo:
Planted 6 tomato plants outside and we are starting to see golf ball size toms now. Also got 2 yes 2 Red Delicious apples..:)
I'm not sure if it's birds or squirrels, but something is eating my apples & peaches while they're still on the trees, so that half the skin is still there, but they're becoming hollow on the inside. And the birds are dropping more grapes than they're eating- such a waste! So far, the only vegetables I've been able to harvest are arugula and some green onions.
The tomatoes are coming along as well as the 2 Red Delicious apples we have growing..
