I can appreciate your wanting a home that may require a bit of updating, but not not total remodeling... lol. As far as it being the last one... I have told my wife the same. I moved a lot between civilian and military life and I let her know that I might have one move left, so choose wisely.

Hello everyone hope you are doing well.House hunting is put on hold as winter has gotten bad here we're in for a major snowstorm tomorrow through Wednesday and it's so cold so i'll be waiting till the end of Feb-March to continue looking actually i have now till end of May so this gives me a little more time as i already pretty much got rid of alot of stuff and repacked other things.Between winter and covid things keep changing but,i will push on and do the best i can as it's all any of us can do at this point but,also one good thing came about there's one wonderful place over there that i have been interested in as the people will be moving in May,it's really beautiful so far it's the one that has caught my eye so i'll just wait.Hope everyone s staying safe and well.

Today is one of my favorite days of the year. All this week, actually. I love the smells and the getting ready for Thanksgiving. And when the holiday is over, it's the beginning of another one! No post-holiday blues, we just jump right into Christmas! :elf3:

Hello all yes Mistletoe it sure is and it doesn't seem to feel holiday like as these temps which today 61 everything seems off this year.Would like to say that this year i'm not doing cards and my son and i aren't doing gifts to each other the tree has gifts for the furbabes only.We've been trying to move and hopefully this spring we will be able to as we're watching those pennies closely we want to have a very good savings as we've always lived within our means and have been comfortable.Actually this seems to be the new norm especially around here many are having a smaller holiday some not doing gifts,many are watching money closely starting new types of traditions.I hope the New Year will be a bit better as this world needs it.We love you all.:merrychristmas:

So much has happened this year, but I am thankful that through it all, the Lord has assisted me is keeping my Christmas Spirit alive, as have those on this site. We also are having a warmer December (though that is about to end). Luckily, enough snow fell to stay on the ground through the 25th. So a White Christmas will be here in Sioux Falls. Winter cold has found us here (with the exception of the next three days), but just one decent snow thus far and that was the first part of December. Outside is down, but some of the inside is still up. Of course my office is replete with Christmas decor all year round... :hopxmas:

Good morning all. I'm not sure about everyone else, but this has got to be the weirdest Winter I've experienced in South Dakota, since I moved here in 98'. Very little snow (so far) and the temps jump up and down from -1 to 53. Varying from week to week. Have fun all... :waving:

We're having the weird weather here, too, Bishop. One day this week hit almost 60F. Today is a high of 24, with a dusting of snow. :dizzy:
We've been getting more frequent snow, but it's my favorite kind- sticks to everything but the pavement (or so little that there's no need to shovel). So pretty.

We have had a couple of dusting as well. If we are going to get some, I rather it be just one day (even if slightly heavy) so I can get the shoveling done in one shot... lol
