Brown-Eyed Susans
1 1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, just add
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
Brach's chocolate stars
Cream butter, sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and salt. Mix well. Add flour; blend well. Chill 1 hour. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet. Top each with a chocolate star. Bake 350 F. 10 minutes.
