Snow for Christmas has become more of a rarity here in the northeastern US. When I was a kid (18 and under), I only remember 1 green Christmas. It may not have snowed that day - but we always had a snow covering. Now - maybe only 25% of the time - if that!

I hope too. But I have feeling that every year winter becomes more warmer.

This is South Dakota! From October - May, you really don't require a tingle, just wait a little while... :home:

Can you call a Blizzard in April a "tingle"? Started here in Sioux Falls early this morning and is suppose to continue into Sunday morning. Oh well, time to bundle up... :xmascandycane:

We had a brief one already here in Sioux Falls last month. It was beautiful and I had to stand in it for a few moments.

It's saying we may get our first snow of the season this Friday 10/30. I do wish it would hold off until after Halloween- it doesn't really go with the holiday! :pumpkin:

Better yet, save it all up for the whole month of December (when all the pretty lights are up)- especially Eve & Day! :gingerhouse:

Luckily, the temps here are rising and the "first snow" should be histiry in time for Halloween. But this is the Dakotas, so far form the last one... lol :snowing:
