I know (or at least I assume) that everyone here likes Christmas music. But what's your favorite kind of music? You know, your go-to genre.

I'm a die-hard 70s music fan. Anything and everything from the 70s, from bubble gum pop to hard rock. No other music like it!

How about you?

I love 70's music as well - my era - HS and college years!

I also like southern rock (NOT country) - Charlie Daniels, Marshall Tucker, Lynard Skynard (sp). Love anything by Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, John Mellencamp. Do NOT like Jazz, Soul or Rap

I die for jazz music. I collect jazz albums from '30s to '70s.

I don't mind jazz. My personal favorite is Vince Guaraldi though...I bet you can guess why. :jumping:

What can I say? The 60's. Having spent my youth through teens in the Los Angeles area, it had to be those brothers on the shore... the Beach Boys!!!
Anyone else like Little Saint Nick?

I have a wide range and it depends on my mood. I love the traditional songs done by the artists that made them popular, big band style, smooth jazz Christmas and sometimes just very relaxing piano instrumental versions. Oh and I also own a few done in the Disney style...

Yes, I also like some classical (though gravitate to Christmas classical lol), big band, crooners & music from Disney movies. I used to like jazz, but haven't been into it as much lately. I pretty much like my music to make me light-hearted and happy.

I do not care for the traditional Jazz with those style of vocals, but the smooth Jazz instrumentals like they have on AccuRadio. :xmaswink:

I love any type of music I can bob my head to and dance.

Not much of a dancer myself, but I use to enjoy watching others on the dance floor... :santa1:

Speaking of, I've had the urge to square dance lately. Only did it in gym class once years ago, but I feel like it goes with the harvest season. Maybe I've watched too many musicals in my life... :santahat:

I can understand that, but in my case it would be others watching me and saying... "Look at that square dance." lol :elf3:

I was in Home Depot today and they were playing all 70's music, which was weird. I'm not a big fan of 70's, but it was actually fun to hear.

Well, the late 60's through the 70's was the music I grew up with, but still am selective. However, if I had to choose one type... Christmas music is still #1... :presents1:

70's music played on the radio during long car rides to NY to see relatives while I was growing up, with sisters who got car sick- not pleasant memories. :santahat: But I think disco can be fun.

Very cool. It is so hard sometimes to answer a question like this, because it mainly depends on the mood I am in or want to be in. For today in prep for my putting up the CIJ tree, it is Christmas music... :hopxmas:

Classic carols are my favorite kind of Christmas music, but I do find myself drawn towards some of the newer hits as well. "Last Christmas" (though a bit sad) has a snappy tune and a great ending to the song... :dizzy:

Classic carols are my favorite Christmas music also. I don't like 'Last Christmas', but I like fun sounding/upbeat new Christmas songs that come along.

I also like classic Disney music. I start transitioning to that as the warmer weather starts to approach.

I have a ton of Disney music. But I have to put my mind back to the days of Disney before it incorporated a WOKE attitude...

:santahat: I prefer the early classic movies and music.
