Trying - and failing! - to stay awake to see Santa delivering your presents

We've all tried it, haven't we? Going to bed as a kid on Christmas Eve evening full of excitement and anticipation of what Father Christmas would leave for us, doing our best to ward off sleep by eating sweets that we'd kept specially hidden under the pillow... But the time passed ever so slowly, and then... we we awoke early on Christmas morning to find that clever old Santa had sneaked past us again!

I think he must've borrowed some sleepy dust from the Sandman.
