Just spent the last three hours finishing up my tax returns - actually I still have to prepare and submit the final copy, but I'm done with all the calculations! Yay!!! This was the most complicated return I've ever done because: My husband still has income from his business, so all those forms needed to be completed, and I had to file a non-resident NJ return (in addition to the NYS resident return) as his new job is in that state. It was a total of 23 pages. Now I can start preparing the financial aid paperwork for my daughter's tuition and expenses! It never ends!
