Never seen it myself. Although, I tend to stick to the action / adventure or drama kind of movies.

It's definitely in our dvd Christmas library!
And it's one of our favorite newer ones but I'm a sucker for the oldies like "It's A Wonderful Life", "Miracle on 34th Street" & " A Christmas Story"

lol i love the christmas tree scene too! my favorate scene though, has to be when he runs into the cabinets in the ladies bathroom. Or when he sprays perfume in his mouth!

It's my favorite Christmas movie! Very funny and surprisingly very touching. I think Will Ferrel is great in it, but part of me wishes it had been made 20 years earlier, because I would have loved to have seen John Candy play Buddy.

John Candy was a very funny comic actor in the 1980's and 90's. He died in 1994. He was in several movies, including Splash, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and Uncle Buck. He had a cameo role in Home Alone. He worked with Catherine O'hara (the mom in Home Alone) when they were both on SCTV.

I loved John Candy...I still enjoy seeing his old movies whenever I catch them on TV.

I absolutely love that movie. It is one of my faves for sure. I also just saw Fred Claus and it had bad reviews but I thought it was very cute.

I love John Candy movies. I enjoyed Elf but would like to see Fred Claus! It is on PPV but I am not sure if we should order it! Maybe I will then if I like it buy a copy of it!. :presents3:
