I'm giving it to one of my daughter's for her nine-year-old and friend to decorate some jars like those on the cover.

I love Christmas Magazines and collect them during the holiday season - I have not bought any yet this year, though, they're a few weeks away from being on the shelves here.

They're stupidly expensive here, too. That one was $9.99. Sometimes my emotions overrule my common sense!

Those hats are made from socks. One of the jars is filled with "puppy chow" a silly name for human consumption. DON'T feed this to your dogs!
Puppy Chow
9 cups Chex cereal
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Put cereal in large bowl. Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour over Chex cereal, put into a large plastic bag with powdered sugar and shake well to coat.
Spread mixture evenly on wax paper and allow to cool.
