Came across this website for refurbishing/upgrading old, tired ornaments .... see here (http://urbancomfort.typepad.com/urban_nest/2010/11/easy-ornament-upgrade.html)

So I pulled out a box with some snowflakes in need of some upgrading .........:elf1:

Here's a snowflake I sprayed and re-glittered ... actually glued two together for a 2-dimensional effect which you can't tell from pic

Mixed glitter crystals with fine white glitter for a frosty look

The round baubles with feathers which I posted on another thread should go nicely with the teardrop ones I did last year

I am framing the needlepoint I made for my Mom's Christmas gift later today! I started it 15 or more years ago, then forgot about it. It is finally done!

Thank you Mina ... if you double click on the snowflake image you get a better idea of the finish ... frosty !!

Lots of sparkly bits on the stitching like the snowflakes and reindeer harnesses but didn't come out in the pic ..:santa2:

My older son played golf last weekend and picked me up some huge pinecones from the golf course ... like 6-7 inches tall they are ... really beautiful !!!

Hmm!!! DIY calls re decorating them ..........:santa2:
