I'm back. Like ornamentmaven, I received bath towels; I really wanted them. I got calendars, a book, a Jim Shore figurine, a little village toy shop, a Christmassy candle holder, and a baking set. Well, I didn't receive any CDs but I found my missing Christmas CDs right before Christmas! YAY!

My favorite Christmas gifts were 5 Jim Shore Santa ornaments which reflect the ethnic background of our family: Scottish, Irish, English, German and Russian. Quite a mix! I will probably make a table top vignette with them instead of hanging them on the tree.

I opened a Christmas present today. My mother told me to. It's a Steiff (non-mohair)Teddy bear from the February Alpenland catalog. My mother saves those catalogs and called them to see if the bear was still in stock.

I got a really nice leather jacket! I got some articles of clothing I really wanted. Overall, a very nice Christmas as far as gifts. The real joy was watching my boys! THAT is what truly makes it special for me!!

I got some nice accessories for my bike and some clothes. But like Mike said, it's so much fun watching your kids on Christmas morning. We got our son-in-law a GoPro camera this year, and the look on his face when he opened it was priceless. He posted this picture on Instagram yesterday from Breckenridge, so he really seems to be enjoying it!
