I think mine is 'A Fairy Tale of New York' by the Pogues. I kind of like the fact that its not a completely glamorized portrayal of Christmas.

I love so many, but my very favourite is White Christmas. Many versions will do, but the Bing Crosby of course will always be 'it'.

I also love:
I'll Be Home For Christmas
Winter Wonderland
All I Want For Christmas Is You
It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

And just so many more...

O Holy Night
All My Heart
Whence Comes this Lovely Fragrance?
O Come O Come Emanuel
Carol of the Bells
People Look East

of course, all the well known ones like "Silent Night", "the First Nowell" etc.... and many others

I have way too many favourites, but one I always seem to play over and over without ever getting sick of is "I Believe in Father Christmas" by Greg Lake.

For me, it's either The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping or The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York. Love them both! :)

I've never heard "Fairytale of New York." I've heard this is better known in the UK than in the US. guess a listen on youtube is in order

I am sure that I have said it enough on here but, in my humble opinion, Andrea Bocelli has the single best Christmas Album that I have ever heard. That being said, my favorite of his (and all around favorite) is "Adeste Fideles" (Oh come all ye Faithful) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZ7cWPejR0Y). A close second would be "What Child is this" w/ Mary J Blige (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-GX0eWXjq8)

My favorite song would have to be Little Toy Trains by Glenn Campbell. I'm not a big country fan but, that song brings back so many memories of my mom and my childhood during Christmas.

I love Silent Night, to me it embodies everything that reminds me of Christmas.

Picking a favorite Christmas song is like picking a favorite child...can't do it, so I won't even try :)

However, there are some that really stand out for me...

Silent Night
O Holy Night
The Holly and the Ivy
The Christmas Waltz
The Nutcracker (in its entirety)
Ding Dong Merrily on High

Jona Lewie - Stop The Calvary
Chris Se Burgh - Spaceman Came Travelling
The pogues - Fairytale of Newyork
Mariah Carey - All I want for Christmas
Band Aid - Do they know it's Christmas
Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping
Cliff Richard - Mistletoe and Wine

John Lennon - Happy Xmas (War is Over)
Boney M - Mary's Boy Child
Michael Buble - It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Mud - Lonely This Christmas

O Little Town of Bethlehem

I find it very difficult to choose. Maybe Silent Night. But I also love Come, O Come, Emmanuel and What Child is This? My darling's favorite, for sure, was O Holy Night.
