Well I finally got started this is the tree in my Study.It is 71/2 feet tall 65 inch diameter at the base and has 1250 lights.

Here is one of Papa's little decorating tips for tall trees.

For my 9 ft tree I wire tie a 3ft piece of 1inch PVC to the leg of a stool and use it as a stand to decorate the top section of the tree before putting it in place.:elf3:

Well the inside is pretty much done just a matter of clearing away all the boxes and taking pictures.It's been raining off and on here since Thursday so the outside lights are on hold until things dry out a bit.

Here is the Train Room tree.Last year I got a bigger tree for in here and I don't have near enough ornaments that I'm happy with the look of it so I added the bead garland .I'm not really happy with it but it will have to do for now.

This tree is 6 1/2 feet tall with a 56 inch diameter at the base with 600 lights.

The Big Tree

This is my favorite tree it took us 30 years to collect enough glass ornaments to do this tree it's 9 1/2 feet tall and I absolutely love it.It is fantastic !!! as all your decorations are ... how many ornaments do your have on that tree? Your wife's Nutcracker collection is superb !!!:home:

I think that you have me beat with nutcrackers. I only have about 40 or so. Didn't put them out because didn't want the kitty to have to much fun ruining ALL my decorations.
