It seems hard to believe that most of us were alive back then and can remember a world so similar, yet so different, to that of today. As an example I give you the Argos catalogue from 1976, midway in the Decade That Style Forgot, a time before computers and mobile phones... Yes such a time existed! You may well have been given some of these items for christmas...

Hey Mole , In 1976 I was a Senior in High School what a grand time to be alive:elf3:

When I was a child we could not wait for the Sears Wish Book to come out

Oh - I would just gomcrazy when the Sear's Christmas wish book arrived. LOL I was a college junior christmas of 1976! Where have the years gone!

Wow! That brings back memories. I remember some of those toys in my house growing up.
