Can you even buy cranberries in the United Kingdom? If you can't buy cranberries there, you can't very well make cranberry sauce.

I always use Ocean Spray brand jellied cranberry sauce. However, I found a recipe for you online:

Jellied Cranberry Sauce Ingredients
2 1/4 cups water 1 1/2 cups sugar
1 (12-ounce) package fresh cranberries (3 cups) 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions for Jellied Cranberry Sauce

In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the cranberries and boil over moderately high heat, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes.

Puree the cranberries in a food processor and strain.

Return the puree to the pan and cook over low heat, stirring frequently, for 3 minutes. Add the sugar and salt, and cook until the sugar dissolves, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a bowl, let cool; refrigerate until gelled.

Makes about 3 cups.

This is served as a side dish or relish even though it's sweet like dessert.

OR a more simple one:

* Prep Time: 0hrs 5 mins
* Cooking Time: 0hrs 15 mins

Ingredients

* 300 g cranberries
* 150 g sugar
* 250 ml water

Method

Place the cranberries, sugar and water in a pan and bring to a boil over a medium heat. Let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes stirring from time to time so the sauce does not boil over until cranberries are cooked. Pour into clean, sterilised jars. Cool and store in the fridge.
