I like the look of your village. Many years ago a friend gave me a village set for Christmas and just last year I was able to put it out and light it up. You've inspired me to look for some pieces. I really like the skating area.

I love your village! :)

I have Christmas in the City. It's such fun to see what they put out each year and set them up.

Very pretty!

I'd been buying village piece's at yard sale's and flea market's this year.I guess I have like $20.00 in about 10 building's along with tree's,people, fencing .Well I went to Wal Mart the other night and found the village of my dream's ,so I plan to sell the other village and buy the one from Wal Mart . The new one is a log cabin ,a barn, grist mill, a country justice of the peace, a church and the landscaping .

Very cool! You'll enjoy having a matching set of buildings from Wal-Mart.

Did you recognize mine as the New England Village? The Mill Creek Pond is really cool but I don't have a macro lens which would have taken a better picture. There is a beaver in the pond and a little waterfall. It's my favorite piece.

Be sure to post a photo of your Christmas in the City!

The only Christmas villages I've ever wanted are Disney ones I've seen that Hawthorne Village makes.

Here's the Disney Holiday Village Collection:

And here's my favorite, the Nightmare Before Christmas Christmastown Collection:

I have never thought about investing in a village but one would be perfect for my breakfast nook bar since we never use it to eat at.
