That looks great! Real classy. Still, it needs just a bit of red for my taste. :kinky elf:

Dreamy Tree! I have a few of the same ornaments - just wish my tree looked that luxurious!

I love elegant trees and furniture, but(sorry, Charlie) we're kinda poor.

Last year's tree:

It still looks great to me! It's certainly got more colour than the first tree you posted. You should be proud! :tree:

Yours looks great too!!! We live in a wee home; my fake tree was a 3 footer on a stand in the corner. The snowflake ornaments I have are plastic... - I love Christmas anyway!

Thanks to both of you! I had a tall, slim tree but I'm no spring chicken and it was too much work. Plus my tiny house seems to be shrinking.

Yes!! We will love Christmas no matter what!

Here's the 7 1/2-footer:

Did you decorate your tall tree differently every year, Marshmallow World? It looks like it. Those photos are all beautiful!

This tree is gorgeous! Where do you get your ornaments? I shop for my mom and grandma on Collections Etc. They usually have really good prices.

I took a lot of those ornaments to Goodwill when we gave away the large tree. I miss my beautiful tree, but old age is creeping up on me and I couldn't lug the parts from the basement anymore.

I know what you mean MW. Last year was very difficult for me and will be from now on! I had foot surgery last summer which leaves me with a permenent disablility making walking (lack of balance) very difficult. I will need plenty of help again this year!

Oh, I'm really sorry! I've been in physical therapy the past couple of months after a shoulder injury and see people there with lots of other problems. Wow! Those people are all different ages, of course, but I keep equating my problems to age. LOL.

Thanks MW. Some of my problems are age related (I'll be 55 in early Oct.) and some are related to illness and surgery!

I love hanging beads on the trees! I have both strands of silver beads and white garland (along with probably 1000+ ornaments) on my main tree. Get so many compliments and love the way it looks, but it takes sooooooo long to set up!

Oh, those upside down ones are the pits! I don't like black ones either, but the upside down ones are the dumbest idea anyone ever had.

MW...you have inspired me for decorating my house. I am in the process of remodeling and I have decided to keep everything neutral, with the exception of silvery/sparkly stuff. So thanks! :elf1:

I will! I am going through the "inventory" now. I am doing red and white, but as a base, for all during the year, I am going to incorporate some of the elements in your pic. Thanks! :waving:

I love silver decorations! I agree that a bit of colour is very Christmasy, too. Especially reds and golds, but I think the white and silver looks so elegent and wintery!

I like to do my tree mostly in silver colours and then brighten it up with coloured lights :D And I can bring some colour to the rest of the place with red table covers and sofa cushions.

Here is my tree from last year:

I also had beautiful, glistening snow flakes hanging from the ceiling :smitten:

Last year was the first time since I was married that I bought new decorations (and he first time I chose my own - the decorations that we had before were hand-me-downs from relatives, given at our first Christmas together when we moved out 5 years ago!). I was on a bit of a budget so I'm looking forward to going out tinsel shopping as soon as the decs come out in shops this year and building up my collection.

Yesterday I bought a silver star for the treetop, and a few more ornaments(glass pinecones and 1 other) for my blue and silver tree.
