What kind do you prefer? Just the traditional red or green or ones found here with stitching and pictures?

Mine is a simple, sparkly white which complements the sparkly white garland and white treetop angel!

A lot of those are very pretty, and I also like traditional ones, but when I was growing up, my mother always used a large white bed sheet, so that was tradition for me. In fact, I have been using a white bed sheet myself for the past few years and my kids like it just fine.

They are all beautifull. I would use 20" Burgundy Mini Tree Skirt with Holly, 48" Velvet Reindeer Tree Skirt, 56" Red Snowflake Tree Skirt,56" Red Snowflake Tree Skirt with White Trim, 6" Red Jeweled Tree Skirt, 56" Burgundy Tree Skirt with Holly Trim :)

Thanks for the lovely ideas with pictures! I have never had a tree skirt. I want mine to be star shaped, with pointy ends (like jester shoes) and jingle bells on the tips. I have had the white and silver material for a few years, but have not made it yet.

I struggle to find a skirt that would go with any colored theme I decided to use. I did find an elegant gold satin skirt with tiny flecks of green and red, it's perfect. I change my theme color every year so this was a big deal to me. So no matter what my color theme for my tree, the skirt matches.

I have had for several years. It's mostly burgunty with gold details. I'm thinking though about getting a new one, larger. :christmastree:

I just use a solid white one to match my white garland, white lights, white bows, and silver beads

I stick with the same decorations/color scheme year in and year out mostly for lack of storage. I have a chocolate brown velvety skirt that's reversible with a gold matte color on the other side. It's perfect:)

I have a few different ones. This year I want to buy a nice red one. The last few years I have been using throws for a tree skirt as I at times do colors that you can't find a tree skirt to match. One year it was mostly orange and aqua so I used a throw.

I really want to upgrade our skirt. It's really a cheapo, and it's kind of ratty. The sad thing is that the ones I really like are all so dog-gone expensive!!

I know. I have three skirts but always end up using the cheap white one.

My favorite tree skirt is a train:elf1:

I've always wanted to set up a train to go around the tree, but it would ruin the ability to put gifts under the tree. Oh, and my kids would NEVER be able to keep their hands off!

Mine is a simple, sparkly white which complements the sparkly white garland and white treetop angel!

We usually had the normal red w/ white fluffy edge. This year we went with a bigger skirt and it is all white with reflective "things" all around the edge, looks nice!

Last year I requested that my mother crochet us a new 'home made' tree skirt wi all the left over thread she had, and i think it turned out great. It really reminds me of my childhood, even though i think we used just a sheet or a really felt one.

I'll put up pics once we get our tree next weekend! :D

I just bought a skirt to use in my brown dining room --ON THE TABLE. It is a shiny brown ruched look center with a wide gold satin band. I will take a picture later. Please forgive the color, it did not take well. In the center I will place my Cream and gold Nativity set.
