What do you prefer?
I prefer for gifts on-line shopping.
But for decoration there is nothing better than malls.

Do you have a fav mall?

Prefer the mall as it helps to put me in the spirit of the season. Only use the internet when something is impossible to find in the store

I prefer in store shopping. I only buy online if I cant find what Im looking for in stores or I find it for a better deal online.

On-line when it's off season, in a mall or a market when it's close to Christmas.

I like to do a mixutre of both. I get most of the childrens gifts online as they tend to be bulky.
But I love wondering arounf the shops in December choosing gifts for people.:elf3:

I live on the other side of the country from my family, so I tend to buy a lot of presents online and have them shipped back home for when I get there for xmas. I do prefer to shop in the malls, though -- more xmas spirit that way. :)

i prefer both. mall shopping is fun specially when you do it with your family or friends plus you get to hear wonderful Christmas songs. on-line shopping is also great because of the convenience that it brings. no traffic, no parking problems :) my fave in on-line Christmas ornaments is http://www.howehouse.com/index.htm

For me it has to be a shopping centre (a.k.a Mall). Shopping online just doesn't feel even remotely christmassy. The closest centre is over 60 miles away but it's definetely worth it for all the great presents you can get there. :presents1:

I don't either. I use the pre-paid sort. It's a virtual kind of card that is very safe to use. It's as good as cash.

I don't use credit cards anymore myself. Debit cards are just fine and you can't get into trouble!

We are so lucky to be only 15 minutes from one of the largest malls in the U.S. It used to be second only to The Mall of America!

I like to do both. Christmas shopping is especially fun when with family or friends. And with all the various options you can choose from. And not to mention Santa! :santa1: hehe

But, when it gets closer to Christmas day itself, and when stores are filled with lots and lots of people, i prefer to go online. I hate it when you have to stand for a long time waiting for your items to be checked out.

I prefer online shopping as well as small store shopping. I'm not a big mall person and prefer to steer clear of crazy deal-seeking crowds :elf1:

My wife and I do all of our gift shopping online. Mostly Amazon, Disney and Toys R Us. We used to use eBay a lot but haven't bought anything there in years since sellers started charging $10.00 for shipping and then mailing the items parcel post for $1.75.

Hallmark ornaments and such we Google around for. Most of our ornaments, though, come from Bronners.com, especially since our son was born. Our tradition is we get a personalized ornament every Christmas that has Daddy, Mamma and our son's name on it.

Today I had to get some stuff at Walmart and I ended up getting some wrapping paper! They had some huge rolls for only $3.00 so I couldn't pass that up. Every year I don't buy enough and then I'm forced to go last minute and spend $5.00 on a roll that's barely enough to wrap one gift. :sad elf:

I was hit with a 10 Dollar Postage Charge on a product I ordered from a neighboring town (and it took 5-Business Days to arrive!!). I could have literally drove to where they shipped from and picked it up myself. Since that day I don't really like buying off the internet. I like to see and touch what it is I am buying and see who the person is who is selling it to me.

Outside of that I just love Malls at Christmas. I love the setting of the mall, all the people, the music and advertisements, kids making a mental note of this lists to Santa -- really I don't even mind the hassle that comes with all of it (finding parking spots, aisles packed with people)

I prefer to shop in stores or malls only rather then online. When you shop online you don’t have this special magic feeling of Christmas coming))) :presents2:

I did some online shopping a couple of days ago but I've saved some regular shopping for the local shops.

I prefer shopping online because its way easier to find items and deals. And the malls are always so crazy and sometimes places get very unorganized !! Well it is over here at least.
