But, still, Ive found ways to have Christmas every day with me..
Just a few days ago I finished a puzzle about Victorian Christmas (1000 pieces)...
It was really fun..

I have books called "Christmas Ideals" which have poetry and stories and a new issue comes out each year. I look through these during the year to help get that special feeling.

Haven't been feeling it much lately, but I won't worry about that. That xmas feeling comes and goes throughout the year, but stays strong throughout the holiday season. :)

Do you ever had some days where you thought oh no Christmas .. you had no christmas mood ? Or are you always in Christmas mood ?

olga
05-20-2010, 04:08 PM
Im usually in Christmas mood, but, of course, there are days where Christmas spirit is taking a break...
Thats very normal to happen once in a while, I guess..

You are right. I have the 'Christmas break time' at most from January - May and then some days in summer.

Especially in summer, when you are on vacations, I think, you have to leave Christmas spirit home... :elf1: :elf1: :elf1:

In my opinion its never too early to plan for Christmas decorating, in our case we have so much stuff it takes careful planning. Plus I am always thinking of new things to do.

Well, I have more inspiration and decorations than I have room! I always have a decent amount of decorations that don't get put out each year because I don't have enough room, but you can bet that doesn't stop me from buying more! :yahoo:

Hi, Tink! Well, I'm planning a German glass ornament tree this year. I think I'll have to get rid of some of my Wal-Mart ornaments. We already gave away the big tree we had the past few years; it took up too much storage space and was difficult for this old lady to set up by herself.

I believe you are a clone of me! The house next door is for sale. Wouldn't you like to buy it?

Thanks for the invite! Although, I guess I better hang around here. I don't know if two Christmas fanatics side by side would be too much to handle for some areas! Besides, if it were not for our house, the road I live on wouldn't be too festive...I always love watching the shows at Christmas that have a whole street that decorates and really gets into it...I wish the people in my little 'ol country town would be more festive...I have even volunteered to help people decorate!!! There are too many scrooges around here!:waving:

Two houses on our street recently sold to people who don't decorate for Christmas. They're nice families but go to churches that don't encourage Christmas decorations. :(

Well I recently got that christmas feeling again when I woke up on Friday and it was raining loads just like it does on Christmas Day. Combine that with the fact that I went to the same shopping centre I always use for Christmas the day after. Makes it seem very christmassy.

Thinking of Christmas always makes me excited and happy and it's the best way to keep my spirits up. I'm like TIATIA with that :santa1:
