Yes - one year when my sister and niece were visiting from Seattle, they picked up a cold/virus on the plane and were so sick on Christmas day. By Christmas night we were all sick, including my 2 year old who was miserable!

Oh Yes - I am so emotionally attached to many of my ornaments. When my tree fell over and my "Our First Christmas Together 1979" ornament broke I was beside myself - mainly because I had originally owned two and had previously broken the other. I managed to repair it the second time - but it's not the same!

yes, once, when I was 17 or 18 and worked at a fast food fried chicken restaurant. the district manager brought in a suit; it was not the best, but I wore it that one shift, took it home with me (can't remember why) never saw that district manager before or since.

Me, too!!!!!! I'm disappointed, though, because either because of my age or because I haven't sung in a while, I have lost my ability to sing. I used to have a nice singing voice.

LOLOLOL, OM, the question is, have I ever spent only 1 day decorating my tree ? and the resounding answer?

NO!!!!!! hahahaha, I spent FOREVER decorating my tree because it's a love/hate thing with me. I am basically lazy (yes, I admit it) , perfectionist, I love it when it's done , and I have to take frequent breaks, oh yeah, and I get frustrated, angry, and swear a lot (ashamedly) while I'm doing it. so, sometimes it takes me as long as a week or more, believe it or not.


have you ever put both clear mini lights on AND multi colored mini lights on in such a way that you could turn one or the other off, so you could have just clear lights if you are in that mood or just colored lights, or both?

No -but QVC has a pre-lit tree this year that morphs from multi to clear! (And I get frustrated decorating the tree too - becasue I am also a perfectionist and I would love to take a break -but I never allow myself -so I may be decorating it way into the wee hours!)

I outline many of my displays with white mini lights (my snowmen. nutcrackers, santas, fireplace, village, nativity etc.). Then when I turn off the overhead lights, it's such a beautiful glow in the livingroom)
