Oh, and I stopped at a yard sale this weekend. I found some Christmas napkins and towels that I love! They were new and cost almost nothing. I love finding Christmas things when I am not expecting to !

I bought a Christmas tree topper. I didn't like my old one and actually, I am not very keen on this new either. There are a lot of xmas tree decorations sold in stores but very few toppers, usually. Any ideas where to buy a good one?

It's my dad's favorite movie of all time so I know he'll like it. It is probably the most I have ever spent on a Christmas decoration, and it isn't even for me.

The website it basic and they offer only a few varieties, so I got the Original and the Jingle Berry and I'm just in love. Bought them last year after Christmas, took them out of storage this week and they still look great

As usual My Wife and I spent way to much at the day after Christmas sales.

Large glass ornaments, 3 Nutcrackers, 2 Wreaths, Next years Christmas Cards, Hallmark Ornaments, Paper and Bows everything 50% off with the exception of the cards got them for 75% off.

We started out at Macy's at 7:00 am then Dillards and 4 Hallmark stores got back home at noon.The crowds were brutal at a couple of the stores but we usually know what we are after so we divide and conquer. We have years of Dec.26 experience it's almost as fun as Christmas Eve. Shopping.:elf3:

They give a very nice textured detail in the middle ... perfect for decorating with fondant.

My Mom bought me an ornament from the "Its a Wonderful Life" museum in Seneca Falls, NY. Seneca Falls is most likely the model for Bedford Falls. The ornament is ceramic with the pic from the end of the movie when Clarence gets his wings. The ornament is autographed by Carolyn Grimes - the actress who played ZuZu.

This is what I did with the feathers .. the glass baubles I had purchased in the post Christmas sales.

Made SIX of them at a cost of 0.60 cents each. Have also got some 'teardrop' glass baubles.

I just may attempt to make these (http://www.marthastewart.com/246136/feather-tree) as have got lots of feathers left over.

I have to admit I just spent a small fortune in the Nutcracker Christmas Shop while I was up in Crieff, Scotland. What a great place to buy Christmas decorations all year round. The one special thing I bought was a three carrage train which you put tealights inside of.
