:presents2::presents2::presents2:

Im curious to hear what people want? Whether its nothing or its a brand new Lexus!

I actually have onle a few wants, but no pressing needs.
Would love to get Zoo passes for my family for next year, a new AAA membership and
maybe a radar detector!

Oh, a forward facing car seat for my son would be nice. He will be getting close to turning around about that time!

Well I am hoping that the IUI in November goes through and wife gets pregnant. That would make me happy for Christmas...

OF course i would not mind these two complete DVD sets under the tree.

I got so tired of WOW right after Lich King and since gone back to Ever quest. The graphic still suck but the game is 10 years old and it was nice to try it again since i was there from Beta till the day EQ2 started then stopped.

Yeah, I dont like how WoW has made things so easy, but I will give them credit on a few things. The last patch brought in some new instances and raids that are very hard. Dual spec is cool to. Ive been playing so long, its more of a social thing now instead of a game..

Maybe Diablo 3 will be out by Xmas and I could ask for that!

True, I do have to give them credit with the new expansion since they are going to revamp the old zones by ripping apart stuff.

I would love to give Diablo 3 a test drive though.

Because I really like it there. I've been twice and it feels more like home than where I live now. Plus I really love the weather.

maybe a radar detector!

Speed racer huh? Haha I'd have saved so much money on tickets if I had one of those.
I think I want boring stuff....most of the stuff I want are either too expensive or things I have already bought. So prob just some Anime shows on DVD, maybe a couple of video games and clothes :-/

I'm with you on that one. What sort of ilness did you have?

Last year I was still recovering from a heavy accident I had in May 2008. Therefor a completely painless Christmas is high on my list. But I have to say that I have had few Christmasses that were so magical to me as last years was. I have never been more grateful and happy to celebrate it.

If I have to name something material:
- A nice piece of jewelry from my boyfriend
- Books!(I always enjoy getting those, I read a lot)
- And if I'm being completely outrageousa and unrealistic I would love some Christian Louboutin Shoes. They are breathtaking.

Me too, Olga. I'll hope for a happy & healthy Christmas for both of us. And for everyone on this messageboard actually.

I am doing very well now. I've started college in February and I am enjoying and appreciating life in general a lot! Background of this: I had an accident in which I sustained burns on 27% of my body. Luckily about half of those were 2nd degree and healed naturally. For the rest I was operated and that was so painful. I now still have lots of scars on my neck, right ear, arms, shoulders and a few on my upper body. I am currently on the waiting list for some plastic surgery which will increase both the movement as the look of some of my scars. I'm very excitedly waiting, because I hope it will be a good improvement.

Did it take long to recover from your ilness? Have you also found that you appreciate the little things more now?

Morning Elvira, its been very sad reading your story about your accident and Im really glad you are ok and live a completely normal life, now.

Well, It took me a year to be ok. 2 months in the hospital and 4 months recovering.
After those 6 months, I had headaches every day.. They left recently, but they come often. I wll always have that.

I appreciate the little things much more now, indeed.

I'd really love it if my brother and his family could pop by the family homestead for Christmas. It's been a long time since everyone got together on Christmas Day. I'd also love to go to Disneyland in December to see the park when it's at its best!

I'd also love a white Christmas tree with blue LED lights. Saw one at Garden Ridge and I almost cried for joy. I don't think Santa is going to deliver on this one, tho. I have way too many as it is! haha

Glad to hear, Olga!

As for decorating, I usually start the first weekend after Halloween!! So bad, I know. haha!

My Christmas Dept. 56 goes up on November 1st and I start to do one large tree per weekend. We have two of those. Then I can go around and get all the other smaller trees up and outdoor lights by Thanksgiving weekend.

My husband travels a lot and usually can only help out in small ways during the decorating stage. I *could* cut back on trees but it's such a big deal to me that all the work is worth it. :christmastree::gelf:

Hey, nice to hear from you!! :candycane1:

I think youre doing a great job!! :yahoo:

Well, although we have not a Halloween day in Greece, I usually start decorating the first day of November and If I could do earlier, believe me, I would have already started...

Decoration usually takes 2 weeks (tree, all the house and the balkonies).
In my country, people start decorating the first days of December.. Im one of the very very few who begin so early! :yahoo:

November 1, as well! Great minds think alike! ;)

There have been a few years where we had a tree up before Halloween, but it was tucked away in the upstairs den so kids trick-or-treating on Halloween couldn't see how I rushed Christmas decorating!

Well every year since I was three I've asked for a pony or a horse. I started leasing one this year and if someone bought him outright for me that would be the best present. I've also asked for a new saddle and tack. Non-horse stuff includes snow pants, perfume, new clothes, books and so on.

It's got to be 'War On Terror the Boardgame', hands down. It's been confiscated by the police because it has an Evil Balaclava in it, worth it for that alone! oh, and did I mention I illustrated it...so I am bias...but hey, it's Christmas time, I thought I'd spread the joy...

Aside from my wishlist which I'm gathering, on the non-material side, I want to find a job with a shorter commute and one where the people are friendly.

As years go by, we realise that some things we had them for granted are not..
I perfectly agree with you, Caninemom... :santa:
Health has always been on the top of my Christmas wish list, too, every year...

I would like for everyone in the family to be able to get together at once for Christmas. This is nearly impossible as the family is scattered about far and wide.

I just want everyone to be healthy and I want our planet to be safe from stupid disasters like the BP incident. Though, come to think of it, I do have my eye on a couple of new Barbies this year !! (I collect them !!)
