You're lucky you got all your shopping done!
I usually start between August and September but there is always something I'm needing and have to get it in December.

Thats good, no one I know has even started thinging about Christmas. I like to shop when the malls and stores are packed with people, not last minute which is hectic and terrifying, but when its calm and cheerful :D

I didn't buy any gifts last year, but this year I am going to buy for my grandkids and my DS and DDL.
I found gifts for the kids already, and I plan to order some next month and the others in October and November. We are making gifts for their parents.

No matter when I shop, I always ends up shopping all the way up to Christmas Eve. I was always cautious about shopping too early for the kids because they kept changing their minds about what they wanted.

Good point, and you have to be careful that someone doesn't go out and buy themselves something that you picked up early for them.

I went out and did some window shopping this weekend.

Didnt buy anything, but gathered some ideas.

Seeing Halloween stuff in the stores made it sink in that Xmas is right around the corner! :yahoo:

We may have not Halloween in Greece, but what I can say for sure, is that after the first days of October, some small shops start selling beautiful little Christmas things, you can not find in big stores, or if you do, you'll pay it double..

So, I love that moment, because it really feels that Holidays are coming... :yahoo:

Sounds like you need to come to the USA for a month and enjoy the festivities!

Then you can take the ideas back home and start the traditions there!

I started shopping last month by picking up a few things that I could use in gift exchanges. Now - this week I'm shopping in earnest! :yahoo:

Bought something for SIL that's coming from Mom and me. Can't say just in case she googles my 'name' and sees this thread. ;) Anyhow, shopping for her is so DONE. lol!

I got my toddler niece the Snoopy Come Home DVD. She loves Snoopy! Still need to do a bit more for her...

Found a great price on my mom's perfume online at Amazon and ordered it on my dad's behalf. Originally $90 in the store and paid $36 total! *score* (mom doesn't google, I'm safe here...haha)

I'm jealous...I usually don't even start till after Halloween sometime. I think it's probably a good thing to start early them you can avoid the crowds. I do a lot of my shopping online too.
