Yeah, via email or directly sending out a website link (such as a YouTube link) to friends or families.

On YouTube, i found lots of interesting videos:

I think I will send paper Christmas card for friends and some electric cards for friends which are far away from me. Any way, sending e-cards through email are faster.

I like to receive paper cards.... there's something about knowing they licked it (to seal it) that makes it a little more personal, jk :)

Christmas is a time for nostalgia. I would hate to receive electronic greetings instead of paper ones!

I love making/sending PAPER Cards. The problem is the last two years I make them, address them, an then never actually go to the post office. I think that this year I'll only make Paper Cards for people I'll see IN PERSON and send e-Cards to people I'd usually mail them to.

Paper for me because it's so much easier to display...and so much more thought can go into them especially if they are homemade.

I like paper. E-mail cards can take a second. The paper ones just show more thought.

Paper cards. I could send e-cards to friends for their birthdays. But for Christmas, it's gotta be paper.

I only send out paper cards. I send one to everyone in my family and all my close friends. I just think of how excited I get everytime I open the mail box and find Christmas cards in there. I hope that when my friends and family open their mailboxes they get that warm and cuddly feeling knowing that someone thought enough of them to send them a card. One of my friends said that she liked getting a card from me so much that it inspired her to send cards out to her loved ones too. And that's the best reason for me to keep doing it year after year.

Paper, of course. There is nothing more traditional than to hang up personal greetings from friends. If I get an email, I find myself printing it out and hanging it anywhere! It's just not as pretty!

My wife and I always go paper. We take pictures of our family and put them on cards. They seem to be a big hit!

I usually send paper cards to friends and family and we have a charity christmas tree at work in reception, where you buy a tag for £1, write a message and that acts as a card for everyone at work. All the money goes to charity.

Christmas will not be perfect with out paper cards so start designing your own card guys!!!:tree:

I prefer to send electrical cards. I usually make cards by myself with Photo MovieTheater. I can write what i want to say in it, or even record my voice. Then I'll send it through Internet. It is much faster and really creative!:santa1:

I like elecronic cards too, as, they can be really useful, sometimes.. (sending by mail to colleagues, or people you do not like very much)..

Of course, (to be honest), nothing can be really compared to the old traditional way of writing/receiving paper cards..

Well I send mostly paper cards, usually ones that I make. I do send a few e-cards to internet friends. I prefer to receive paper cards as I like to hang them up on display. E-cards are less personal and I think fine for casual friendships or if you are on a budget.

Paper cards. Its just the best in my opinion.

Paper cards totally...they may take more time, but it IS the thought and effort that mean the most. Especially when you see how different the cards are - some cute, some funny, some warm and toasty. It just means someone was thinking of you...Electronic cards should be for your electronic friends only! If certain people are really special, don't they deserve a little more effort and thought?:santa-smiley:

Paper cards. I think technology is wonderful but I also believe people are becoming too dependent on all this "computer stuff." Paper cards may be old fashioned but they are right for me.
Electronic cards seem somewhat impersonal.......

Paper ones. I have never actually thought about the electronic ones I don't particularly like them .

I agree, electronic cards can be really useful if you wanna wish to some people (colleagues, not close friends etc)..
I would not mind sending them paper cards too, but, most of them chose first wishing that way, so, why say no? :singing:

I may have said this before but, I definitely prefer paper. If someone sends me an e-card, I end up printing it out so I can hang it up!

one can get very creative with e-cards I admit, music and animations and such. You can even make short video clips of yourself singing a Christmas carol or saying Merry Christmas

I also like Christmas paper cards, playing music or sound when they are opened.
They commonly have 3D handmade cards which play traditional celebration songs such as Have yourself a merry little Christmas/The Christmas Song/Silent Night etc..

E-card are quite fancy and much more entertaining than paper cards. I love the tradition of paper cards but e-cards offer a lot of creativity. With the addition of sound and video I can see distant loved ones sending a video greeting with some audio of a Christmas carol
